Yesterday our dear friend yasmin lost her husband. He had a heart attack. We have all been through a lot together and i am just so sad for her. Yasmin loved Lamar so dearly. They are such wonderful people. Lamar was not very social but when you sat down to talk with him he was such a gentle man. When yasmin moved to Utah , Lamar waited here in Hawaii for the house to sell, he lived in a tent in the backyard, such a simple man, but Yasmin and the kids were in Utah reading scriptures and read "and my father dwelt in a tent" the kids all started laughing because their dad was dwelling in a tent in hawaii. it made me laugh and i will always think of him when i come across that scripture. I wish that we all could be there for Yasmin right now, she has been there for all of us at one point or another but especially Nikki when jon died, she was her personal therapist. I just want to tell the Heywood family that we love them and they are in our prayers.
Lamar was a good man, a good father and husband and i know his family is missing him more than words can say. Goodbye Lamar.
