Caleb had to get glasses for part time, i knew this was going to be a challenge seeing as how he has to be different than everyone else but in style at the same time. the challenge was going to be getting something i could look at him in, he would be happy with a lot of crazy styles that i was not going to pay for (napolean dynamite glasses- NO!) but as he pointed out he has to wear them so i told him we can compromise, although they are not what i would have chosen he was happy. i had to remember in the 80's when i thought i was so cool in my red, huge, sally jesse raphael glasses and i didn't even wear glasses, they were clear lenses. caleb should have been born in the 80's, he would have fit right in but he wasn't so he does what he can to keep the fashion alive!

I had Sally Jesse-Raphael glasses, too! I've burned all the photos.
All teenagers will someday be mocked by their own teenagers for their formerly cool fashion choices--at least you're documenting it to provide fodder for your grandkids =).
Hey at least it's just the glasses and not the whole ensamble. He will later see, thanks to your blog, how maybe his fashion choices weren't the best. But it will be a good laugh down the road! And he can pull it off. It kinda suits him.
