little silver linings

i have had a really busy week, it has been tiring with working every day, having my vertigo, sinus thing and having a church activity at night i needed to attend. i even had caleb pick up dinner for us one night, i just haven't had an appetite so don't want to make dinner. anyway i woke yesterday to rain and just didn't want to get out of bed. i knew i had one more day of work so i could make it through. well i went to take baxter out, the rain had stopped and this was outside my front door. rainbows are common in hawaii but i haven't see one in a long time and this was huge, i couldn't even get the ends in the picture. i was grateful for the the little reminder there's always a silver lining. it was a beautiful warm day and even though i had a crazy day at work having shoes thrown at me and being called a loser (by a behaviorally challenged boy, not coworkers!) and being told i had bad breath! i also had kids tell me i was pretty and one boy gets so excited when he sees me coming it makes me smile when he is shouting K, K , K across campus, that's all he can say for my name, and getting a little heart box of chocolate. And today is Friday, no work for me!!   little silver linings!

K,K,K ? I thought that was funny!

I get how draining it can be. I usually pick up Noel (Lance's older brother) in the morning and bring him to school--trin to help out his mom. It's only a short ride but, I realize and can appreciate the work that the aids and teachers do for these kids.

Anyway, hope you were able to get some rest and is feeling much better.
