We stayed in escondido at the Welk resort. some of our family had stayed there before and we could all be near each other in our own condo's. it was a great place and i recomend it if you are ever near san diego. it was a little bit out of the way but it was fine and it was closer to my friend pam who i hung out with and where nikki, holly and yasmin were staying.
they had an activity every hour of every day. yoga, painting, cannonball contests, ice cream, shave ice, walking groups, a farmers market, teen center, movie night and karoke. we weren't there to enjoy it all but we hung out at the pool, went to a bbq and did one night of karaoke.

there was a big fire pit so we all gathered at night to make smores!
this was the main pool but there are 5 with hot tubs and water slides
our room was on the golf course with a lanai. our backyard was with my mom and sisters backyard so we could just run from room to room through the back. we really enjoyed our stay there!
