school's out and i am so happy. i have projects i want to do, books i want to read, cleaning i need to do and sun i need to soak up! we ended school on thurs. and have had a few good summer activities already!
my friend marj, party planner extraordinaire, and her crew gave our friend jen a baby shower with a "Tiffany" theme. it was so fun and so beautiful.

marj made the white paper flowers and the boxes.

hung crystals and lanterns in the trees along with mason jars hanging with tea lights.she covered the trees with white lights and it looked awesome at night.

jen with just a few more weeks til her baby boy is born and marj

there was a fabulous dessert table in all colors of blue, including a cake covered in rock candy that looked like beach glass. marj is a great friend to have!!

it has been way too long since we went to opals. matt and i went to the temple on fri. night and had dinner at opals on the way.

he asks me about my allergies and then just makes something for me. this was amazing when i asked him what it was he said country noodles. we trust opal to make us anything and it will be amazing. it was rice noodles with fresh veggies and was so yummy!

matt got thai fried rice, opal always wants us to share so he made it with no soy sauce, it was really really good! it will be a summer favorite for sure.

the start of many projects.we planted new grass in the back and the front was overgrown about 2 feet on to the lanai. ripped it all out and ran to walmart for a hanging basket and a few planter flowers and it looks much better.

as good as a tiny little lanai can look that needs to be painted!
here's to some good summer days and finishing projects!!

I miss opal's! They have the best pad thai. And that baby shower looks so cute! I'm throwing a baby shower for my friend in July, I might have to steal some ideas.
I've never heard of Opal's, but the next time I come home, that will be on my list of foods to eat! I ate Thai food for the first time up here and I LOVE it. I love the baby shower theme, your friend is so creative. And I agree, I cannot wait until our schools are finished. We are done on Thursday and I have a huge list of things I want to do as well! Yay for Summer BREAK!
Call me sometime and we will plan Seattle...or Spokane...(there all the same to me:)
Miss you:)
