the babies

baxter was our baby before ellie came along, he wasn't quite sure about her in the beginning but grew to love her and be her "big brother".  he had to see her when she woke up in the morning and lick her feet. one time we took him out to kiley's house with us and ellie was asleep in the bedroom in her crib. kiley went in there and baxter was on his hind legs at the side of the crib trying to see her!

 ellie would watch baxter in the beginning, neither of them having knowledge of what the other was but she grew to love baxter too. whenever he came by her she reached out her hand and eventually started petting him with no one ever showing her that! when he had longer hair he was a little scared because there would be some grabbing and pulling but we got his hair cut and then it was ok for him.

we would always take ellie on walks with baxter and  you remember when i took them on a long walk and he had to hop in ellie's stroller to rest a while!

i know i sound like a dork but it's really about ellie!!

i'm sure she won't remember him but they were little buddies until she was 4 months old. i'm sure he wonders where she went. sometimes i play ellie's video's and he looks at me like i know that voice. we all miss her baxy!
