Ellie is going to be 2 months old on the 4th. it feels like now there is life before ellie and life after ellie. we love life with ellie! she is a doll. an easy going, happy, expressive, beautiful girl and we love her. it is amazing to be grandparents. kiley thinks her dad has gone soft. i told her he was like that with her as a baby too. it is different as a grandparent though. especially watching your child parent their new baby. so special!
i go to kiley's every wed. afternoon. that is ellie's nap time. i like seeing her awake and cooing but she will let you snuggle her and she is so cuddly that i love just sitting, holding her and rocking her while she sleeps!
she goes off and on with the binky. usually she likes it to go to sleep then pops it out. she doesn't have it in all the time though.

trying on her jeggings i got her before she was born. still a little big so her mom went and got her a smaller pair so she could wear them since the weather cooled down.
Halloween! kiley's friend had gone to mexico before ellie was born and bought her a little mexican dress. then kiley's friend made ellie and her baby roxy mermaid costumes. they were both the cutest outfits ever! we just about died when ki sent us these pics on our phones!!

grandma had to buy her a stylin pair of sunglasses for all the time she spends at the beach. she might need another month or 2 to grow into them!
kiley and scotty stopped by last night and we took ellie and baxter for a walk outside in the stroller. she loved being all stretched out and outside, she fell asleep before we made it home. she loves to snuggle with her blanket!
we then spent a lot of time trying to get her to talk. in the morning she just coos and talks and smiles, we got some cute faces out of her and a few hi's. i video'd her but could not get it to load.
her blessing is on sunday so there will be more pictures next week. family has asked for the pics to keep coming so i should change the name of my blog to all things ellie!!
