timber!

this is the granite i chose for the countertops. the picture doesn't do it justice i think it will be pretty
                                                     cabinets in

wall waiting for the granite and cover
                                                        bedroom floors
we didn't want to gut 2 bathrooms so for the guest bathroom we had the tub and tile sprayed. a company came out for 4 or 5 hours and sprayed it with special paint. we replaced what fixtures we could and what couldn't come out without ruining the tile they polished for us. i think it turned out really  nice. we will replace floors, toilet, vanity and lights in there.
my single basin under mount sick was put in. the granite goes over the edges and then the faucet and disposal can be installed
we had a few trees we needed taken care of. they were dying, infested with ants and just awful!
this is the plumeria in the back. we love trees but this made a mess back there and was in bad condition
these 2 twin pines in the front also had to come down. they were tall!

it was quite the production. 2 trucks came with 6 guys and they worked for an hour and had it all done. it would have taken us a few days!
one side cut half way down
both sides cut half way down
plumeria gone before i could even get back to take pics that planter will be taken out also
the stump was huge! i guess it was actually one tree that split into two as it grew?!

they shoved and shoved it into the chopper, cut down some bushes for us that had thorns all over and they were gone. expensive but worth it i think. where would we take all that wood and no one got hurt!
matt finished the texturizing on the ceiling and priming. that is not the most fun job!

and oh yeah! the house! we will cut those hedges down so you can see more of the house, it's all carport!
most houses in hawaii are not built for curb appeal. we do have 2 palms though that i love! someday in the future we will put a garage door on.
