Surf Contests are a standard for winter in Hawaii.This year they have still gone on but the waves have not been that great and with all the rain the water has gotten all stirred up, instead of brilliant blue it is mud brown, yuck. i am so grateful we usually have beautiful, clean water.
Caleb went out to the contest after school on Wed. he loves taking pictures for fun. Kelly Slater won this contest which he often does. 
one time Nikki and the kids and i were at a contest, Kelly was getting out of the water and heading to the shower, Nikki said i want a picture with him so she went up to him next to the shower and i took her picture with him. i thought it was so funny, i am sure he is used to women throwing themselves at him :) i will see if i can come up with that picture.
