We had a great trip to utah to take caleb to school. matt and caleb flew into L.A. and drove to vegas, kiley and i flew into vegas and matt flew home. the 3 of us left vegas to drive to ephraim. we stopped at whole foods to buy mine and kiley's most favorite bread that we can only get on the mainland.
we drove to ephraim, a little town in utah where our friend yasmin lives. we spent the night with her along with yani, lola, kyra and drake who were also staying there on their cross country trip! we missed nikki, everyone else was there! we love staying with yasmin and staying up late talking with her! i hadn't really unpacked and didn't get out my camera to take pictures.
on the way out though i did take a few pictures of the manti temple. it is so beautiful and majestic.
we got up the next morning to go to provo/orem to get caleb checked in to his apartmentthe drive from ephraim to provo is really beautiful.
caleb had to get a snack on the way because he doesn't eat breakfast and then is starving by 10.
we spent most of the rest of the trip shopping. getting caleb set up with things for his apartment, toiletries, food, bedding etc. we were exhausted at the end of every day but we had fun. most of the time. kiley missed scotty, caleb was nervous about school and i was dropping my baby off at school and trying to get the rest of the wedding stuff done so sometimes things were a little stressful but all in all i was really glad to spend that time with the kids.

thursday night holly and garrett gave us a special treat. they took us out on their boat. we went to utah lake and it was a really special night!

now what? finish planning a wedding and fly to san diego in 2 weeks!!
p.s. kiley was supposed to stay in utah, she couldn't stand being away from scotty for one more day so she flew to CA the day i left. she is much happier now being with him. my love sick puppy!
