Black Friday

Did you brave Black Friday. i usually hate it, last year i just had to run in walmart before helping my friend Pam pack for moving and it was so crazy when i was leaving i hit the car behind me in the parking lot causing $600 in damage. No savings there! so i am a little leary but matt and nikki wanted to go out so if i wasn't driving i would go with them. it wasn't so bad, i am sure due to the economy but a walmart worker in long island was trampled to death when opening the doors to crazy customers. he was 34 yrs. old. What is wrong with people!?

Nikki and i spent the rest of the day shopping for her kids which is always fun, she probably regrets taking me when we find things for nellie and keep throwing things in the cart. Amber (13) was with us and was on sensory overload and the bell ringer just about did her in but in the end she found some cute things for her own christmas list and with a lumpia (egg roll) from a cart in waikele ended the day happy! i thought old navy really had the only deals and that is just because i was buying kiley some winter clothes for spain. 

How was your thanksgiving? it is a lot of work for a dinner and a lot of clean up but fun to get together.  i didn't enjoy my dinner this year, i am going to have to cook more for myself and make some  yummy gluten free things, my plate of turkey and mashed potatoes with no gravy and sweet potatoes just didn't do it for me this year but the weather was beautiful and afterwards we went with nikki and the kids to see 4 christmases, very funny!
