the ONE!

so kiley has found "the ONE". i know for most of you this is news. she has had a really busy year at school and has hardly been home but she has had a boyfriend for most of this school year. His name is Scott, nicknamed scotty. he is 24, a returned missionary and will graduate in dec.

They just flew out to San diego to meet his parents! i guess this is it!

it has been a very bittersweet thing for me. she is my first born, not my baby, caleb is my baby and kiley has never been a baby! she has always been strong willed and independent but she is still my child and the thought of handing her over to someone else is a hard thing. in truth i cried for 2 days but i am better now and happy for her. he is a great guy with a great drive and a good heart. and i guess most importantly he loves her. i don't even have any pictures of them but he is white and blonde! we were hoping for brown babies from her from living in hawaii but blonde babies are good too, i had 2 of them!
