Since we had christmas eve with everyone at the mozo's we decided to relax christmas morning and play it by ear. everyone was awake by 8 except caleb, at 8:30 we told him to get up and open presents, so different than 5 yr. olds begging to get up before dawn! he finally wandered down the stairs and opened presents laying down! teenagers!
i didn't actually get baxter a present but we let him rip into and play with the wrapping paper!

this is the sad thing, here is another picture of baxter playing with paper. i have no pictures of ki, i really thought i had taken a few and then when the morning was over i realized i had none, bad mommy!
nicole spoiled caleb. he got a nixon watch, a wallet and this hat (which i knew he wanted but wouldn't buy- i hate them) thanks nicole!it was raining and so we decided to do a movie after a big breakfast, the we just relaxed until dinner. i think the kids were bored to death, they don't quite embrace the concept of relaxing like we do. so off to return the gifts that didn't work...

We peeled Carter out of bed too! What's up with that?! Miss you.
We didn't open gifts until about 3 in the afternoon because we waited for Matthew and Kat. I love relaxing on Christmas day!
Haha, I think that's how we all felt too. Plus the babies weren't big enough to understand the concept of Christmas. Wes just kept playing with the empty boxes, even with all his new toys around him. Maybe we just should have given him empty boxes and tissue paper. He appreciated that way more!
