2 things are going on in this post. first last year for christmas my sister jill got me a slanket. this is one of the best gifts i have ever gotten. you may think i live in hawaii and that there is no use for a slanket but you would be wrong. last year i used it almost every day in the winter. hawaii does get cold. not by midwest winter standards but we have no heat, no insulation and our windows are louvres that don't really close. our first floor is ceramic tile and most times it is warmer outside than inside! also this is not a snuggie. snuggie copied slanket. i love it, it is all encompassing from your arms to your neck and enough to go around and sit on. this winter has been very warm and i was dissapointed to not be able to use my slanket but this past week has been so cold. the nights are freezing and the mornings are chilly until the sun warms up.i am not happy to be cold but i am happy to use my slanket!
the second part of the post are the following silly pictures. every night i get my camera out when caleb is playing with baxter and i want to take pictures. when caleb puts baxter in his sweatshirt and he sticks his head out the top but caleb will not oblige. when i get the camera out he puts his sweatshirt over his head. so the other night i got the camera out and he would not let me take pictures so he takes the camera from me and thinks he is "showing me" by taking my pictures. well i showed him! delight in my slanket photo shoot!

You're a dork, but I love my slanket as well! Everynight I use it and people don't understand, because all they know is the snuggie. Funny!

That shoot looks like you had fun! Last Christmas, I was debating on getting the snuggie at Costco. Now they are out of stock and I wish I bought one! Tonight is soooooo cold.

Hahaha, I LOVE your slanket and the modeling pictures:-) It really does look super warm and I think I may need to invest in one of those. They should really make some clothes out of this slanket material.
btw, the cake idea sounds awesome! And I think I may have to try that one out. Seriously though, with fast sundays, you are always hungry. Maybe it's just Sundays in general.
You have gone soft! I am in love with the photo shoot! I am loving the slanket. Audrey keeps asking me for one of those, cause is actually does get cold here!!
