college food

caleb is doing ok at school. it has only been a week and he is still getting used to things but has been having fun with hawaii friends.
he is getting used to making his own meals and does not have many ideas. i told him i would email him a list of ideas and simple recipes but i need help.
i do not do convenience things (freezer dinners, mac and cheese etc.) because they all have wheat in them so i need some ideas.
comment an easy idea for dinner or lunch or an easy college/missionary type meal. Please...

My first year of college, I always made fried egg sandwiches or fried tuna sandwiches. They were so easy and fast to whip up.

Fried egg: just fry an egg sunny side up or cooked if you like. Take out two slices of bread, put on mayo or mustard or both, a slice of ham or turkey, and a slice of cheese. Put the egg right on top and enjoy.

Fried tuna: Make tuna with mayo. Put on top of slice of bread. Butter the other sides of the two breads, and put in a pan on the stove to toast a bit. Add cheese with your tuna before you fry it. It's basically like a tuna melt.

Or he can always make meal wraps with tortillas. Because if you use the big tortillas, you can't call it a snack wrap. A lot of stores, like walmart, carry the frozen, breaded chicken breasts that you can defrost and cook a bit in the oven. Then when it's done, put it on the tortilla with ranch inside or whatever else you like, shredded cheese and lettuce.

I hope it helps a bit.
