when we went to la jolla we went to a paragliding port and watched the people jump off the side of a cliff. everything was so soft and smooth it looked peaceful floating in the air.
they came in so softly and landed on their feet. if you took a ride then you were attached to a pilot who had control. it actually looked pretty fun. nikki and i have been talking about doing something big each year on our birthdays, last year was pretty tame on a zip line at snowbird so i thought about it but first it was 150$ and i am a cheapy and second i just wasn't sure if i could do it without a sedative:)it was really fun to watch though and maybe next time we are there i can work up my confidence to "jump" outside my box!

that looks really fun! If I had the $ yes I'd do it, I'd just close my eyes and let the pilot tell me what to do.

I'd like to think that I'd do it. Waaaay more likely than skydiving. But, really, I'm a total wuss--I'd probably have a panic attack and black out or something. Coolest dream I ever had I was paragliding, though.....I could do that again. I think you should do it =).
I have been longing for it since we left. We should have done it together! Next time around for sure...I am in!

I almost got to do it in AUstralia!!! I was so bummed when we got there and they closed it, but I think I take after my dad....theres nothing quite like being free in the air :)
You should totally do it! At least you know that the parachute won't fail:-) And you only live once. I understand about the price though because I'm a cheapy when it comes to those things, but it'll be a great story to tell.
