Matt's parents and aunt and uncle were in hawaii this past week. it was a busy week but we got to hang out with them some and had a great time. i just never seem to take enough pictures.
we went to ka'ena point and saw some whales in the distance, went to matsumoto's for shave ice, went to kahuku grill for dinner, maui taco's for lunch in kailua
it was a beautiful week, it is supposed to rain today but none so far even though it was chilly this morning.
update on work: it has been a change, preschool is so different than 1st grade, a whole different energy level and vibe. we are working on potty training the boy i had last year and that is quite the challenge and lots of changed underwear!
i really miss my 1st grader, i have cried a few times even to the sped teacher wondering if i did the right thing, but she assures me i did. i love seeing him at lunch and catching up but sometimes he says he'll see me tomorrow, i think he thinks i am coming back.
my friend amalie has him now and i am sure she is thinking all of the same things i did when i started with him and it was a struggle. it took almost a month to get our groove.
all is good though and i am happy to try to be happy where i am.
it was such a busy week i am happy to have a sat. to get some things done and catch up on some tivo and enjoy my monthly trip to target! it has kind of been my thing since matt started working 24 hr. shifts, it just makes me happy! cleaning out the closet i need to clean out does not. carrie, remember the under the stairs closet? it fills up fast!
hope you have have a good weekend!
continue to pray for my sister as she starts her invitro process which is not very fun but all worth it to get a baby out of it!!!

Looks like you guys had fun with Matt's parents. Bellows is beautiful. Cleaning out my "under the stairs closet" has been on my to-do list for a while now too.
Family is always so fun to have over! And the pictures you did get were really nice. I'm in the process of cleaning out my closet and it's such a chore and not even close to being organized or finished. Sigh, one day I'll do it.
Target is down the road from our house, but I think I still only go there at least once a month. Anything more and we would be broke, haha.
I'm sure your job situation will get better, and everything works out for a reason even though the change is the hard part. You are a great teacher and leader though, so the kids probably all love you!
Oh the dreaded closet under the stairs. If it weren't so narrow it would be easier. Will keep your sister in my prayers - - so worth the end result.
Glad you had fun with Tim and Kathy. I just read Kiley's blog. I just can't think of you as a grandma. Ha Ha! Very exciting!
I will be praying for your sister and hoping everything goes well for her. I know its quite the process. Good luck with your closet project this week and I bet it was so fun to have visitors!
