we spent last week camping at bellows for ward camp. i was able to be there most of the time and matt and caleb stayed the whole time. ki and scotty came down one day for dinner. we had a great time!!
i don't know what it is lately but i am not very good about taking pictures. i was just having fun chatting with friends and relaxing and then on thurs. decided to get out my camera so these are not the greatest representation of our time but some of you might enjoy it anyway.
we have had this game for years and it is always a hit. blongo ball or ladder golf. they boys have tournaments and practice their techniques!i wish i had a picture of sondra's grandaughter evalyn who after everyone was done playing and they left the balls on the ground she went over and hung all the balls up! she is so cute!
playing in the water~ all day. well here's the schedule. the kids all get up by 6 and want to go to the beach so after breakfast and devotional everyone is at the beach by 9 or 10. then at 11 or 12 depending on how young and hungry your kids are we all head over to camp and make lunch. we sit around and relax and play games and then head back over to the beach until 4:00. then everyone goes back to clean up and make dinner.
after dinner everyone hangs out playing until bed time which differs greatly depending on your age! the little ones and the old ones about 10. the teens, tweens and brave adults between 1 and 3 a.m.!
we have skit night, they were pretty funny this year. there is movie night, shave ice day and potluck dinners!

every day involves digging a hole of some sort! the men have started buying real shovels to make it more efficient! what can you do with a kids toy shovel?!
old friends and ward members come down to visit. isn't heidi the cutest?!
the kids thought it was fun to watch the young men play ladder golf!
noah thought it felt good to be in the cooler of soda's with ice. he however did not want the top shut! i'm with you noah!

I miss Ward Camp, too! It's called Ladder Golf there? The kids just introduced it to me, but here it's called Hillbilly Golf! Great pictures -- thanks for sharing!
