we have wondered how baxter would act when ellie came. he gets a lot of attention and gets very jealous like when we hold a baby at our house. we took him over to ki's last night because we were taking some things out to set up for isaac's reception today. just so everyone knows, i do know baxter's a dog and i was cautious with him around her. we don't let him by her face or alone with her.
she is always just sleepy, she is in her baby comma
grandpa trying to get her to open her eyes. telling her "ill always have gum!"
ki and scotty moved their matress to the living room floor where it's cooler. while we played with the baby he went and layed by ki to get some attention. he just wasn't sure what was going on.
he would come by us and we would let him sniff her toes, he wasn't much interested but definitely knew something was different.
she opened her eyes for a little bit but it almost looks like she's trying to hold them open!

they have a great bassinet for her that she seems to do really well in, she looks so cozy
she looks so small in it though when you see the whole picture!

I get so excited every time I open up your blog and there are more pics! Glad the bassinet is working out. She does look cozy and soo small in there! :)
Oh my gosh she is adorable! And whenever I have a baby I am going to not let her be by my puppy because you never know! I have no clue how my dog will act around her and having someone else be the center of attention!

She is beautiful Kelly. I just looked at Kiley's blog too. I can't believe it. She is sooo very cute. Congrats.
Congrats Kiley!! I didn't know she had her baby already, but she looks GREAT!!! And Baxter is so cute! I remember when Darah brought her baby home and Ryan's dog ran up to her and sniffed her than just stared. It was like his dog already knew what a baby was and how to be cautious around it!
I can't get over that blonde hair! So precious!
I have been using that exact same bassinet for Alexa! I swear by it and she loves it. I'm just now transitioning from that to the crib. I hope Kiley likes it. Ellie is so so cute and I can't believe Kiley is a mom! Crazy how time flies.
