Ward Camp

This past week we went to Ward Camp. The whole church is invited to go out to Bellows and camp from Mon. to Sat. it is a time honored tradition in our ward. Men take off work, kids take off school (shh) and all the college kids do whatever they can to be there whenever they can.
this is about our 5th year of camping and we have gotten better and better at it, improving our set up each year. Everyone just loves the week. we have activities and beach time and just have a blast enjoying each others company. the kids run around and get dirty, eat too much junk and stay up too late but it is all worth it. It is always a time of memories for me, we camped with the mozo's for several years when they were in our ward. jon did everything huge, even bringing out a fridge one year and hooking it up to a generator, it got crazy. we really miss those times with jon.Makana came with us though and we always like it when we can spend time with the Mozo kids. We also got the news 4 years ago next month at ward camp that our friend kelly was getting her baby tanner, that was a moment i will never forget. It is filled with wonderful memories. it's hard to understand how people in hawaii camp until you have experienced it, i know i take hawaii for granted but i know this experience is special.
