My mom and i went to see the turtles, for you hawaiian locals this is no big deal but it does still amaze me to see honu (sea turtles) sunning on the beach. this day there were 4 on the beach and then one decided to crawl back in that was fun to watch. i know it is getting colder where most people live so hopefully some pictures of sun and sea can warm your day!

I love the turtles, too, Kelly! How fun that you guys got to see so many. Every time we've been there we've only seen 1 or 2.
I'm a sucker for that one beach in Kona where you can snorkel with the turtles--I dragged Jeff there 2 days in a row last time we were there and I just couldn't get enough!
What an amazing thing to see! Some people think they have to go far, far away to see something like this but it's pretty much in your backyard!
