my ortho actually wanted to pull one of my front teeth so my bite would be correct, i didn't want to do it so he said that was all he could do, my teeth are straight but my bite is off. would i rather have that tooth taken out and my bite will be right or have a gum graph on that tooth?seems like the lesser of 2 evils to me! i guess i will talk to the ortho and the peridontist or is it periodontist, i don't know and make a decision what to do?! we will now be taking monetary donations and prayer!! just kidding, well about the donation part!
maybe i didn't explain it very well but they are 2 different things: when i had my braces the ortho wanted to pull a front tooth out so that i would have more room for my teeth and bite to straighten out but i didn't want to be missing a front tooth for months so i said no, i thought it was good enough. now i have this front tooth where the gum is almost missing in front of the tooth so i have to have gum taken from somewhere else or my palate and replace it or else my tooth won't have anything to hold it in and it could fall out. SO i am thinking rather than have the gum graph i should just get the tooth pulled and my bite will work better, i am not sure about having braces put back on? we'll see once i see them both, get it cami?! it could be your pregnant brain or just me thinking things and not explaining them right!

Maybe it's my pregnancy brain but I'm not really following...I don't know what a gum graph is and what that entails. I don't understand, does he want to pull your tooth b/c the gum thing and your tooth might fall out on it's own or b/c of the bite? Would they pull the tooth and then use braces to close the gap and fix your bite? Why is your bite such a big deal so soon after you just got your braces off? Is this the same guy who did your braces? My top and bottom teeth aren't centered properly and I don't really care, is it that noticeable? Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand. Either way, I'm sorry you're dealing with so much crap right now...try to keep positive!
how about a 2nd opinion by another dentist?
Funky teeth and odd bites don't seem to bother the British--perhaps you could just move there and save yourself the dental hassle? ;)
hi kelly we're actually in florida right now. i will update my blog when we are done!
I like Juli's comment. That is so funny. Yes, I get it now, thanks for the extra info. That does not sound like fun, either way. Maybe you should get a second opinion, b/c pulling that tooth is a huge deal. I don't know, but what a predicament! What does Matt think?
And you could come up with 101 reasons why you love Matt, it really wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be. I put all kinds of things, some serious, some funny and totally corny.
