i have found a few things to be grateful for in this bad situation. our computer was not taken, i know we need to put all of our stuff on a hardrive for safety now. our t.v. wasn't taken which i just don't want to spend the money to replace. my much loved camera is here and a few ipods. i was using caleb's old nano so ki can have it and i will go back to my original shuffle, i don't care. it is very bizzare the way she did things. my camera would have been very easy to grab but she didn't. she took ki's manual SLR camera though.she took her time in ki's room, choosing jewelry she wanted, leaving little bracelets and necklaces that didn't matter. she tried to take the t.v. and computer but our neighbor came home and interuppted her, i am SO grateful for that. when i saw her she apologized for not doing anything but thought she was just someone leaving our house. as she got to thinking about it we never use our back gate and she had a few backpacks but it was very very quick and i don't blame her for not doing anything at the time. i just thanked her for coming home, she saved some big stuff for us. the girl was not into identity theft which was a huge relief, that ruins lives. no one was hurt and we know it was a girl. i am also very grateful that kiley did a blog from spain. i watched a video on blurb. com on how to make your blog into a book so i will do that for her so that is a special keepsake she will have! (will post on that progress) Kiley and i will be looking at pawn shops today, fun! it is still raw and like i say i am venting so bear with me...
NOTE:
i guess i should explain the entry, hawaii has wonderful-not- louvre windows, she just cut the screen, stuck her hand through the louvre and unlocked the sliding glass door. we will be bolting the bottom from now on but we were just gone for the afternoon for goodness sakes, it is broad daylight! it happened between 11:15 and 2:15

Keep us updated.
I know that feeling of being violated really sucks. Sometimes I think about my jewelry collection and it is not worth a lot but so many things are gifts that represent special events or times of life. Poor Kiley.
Did you have insurance? Maybe we need to take up a collection for a new camera! Nikki what do you think?
Man those louvres are easy to break into. I guess I never really thought about it.
