We were not going to have a grad party for caleb. just too much going on and he didn't seem to care. then our friend's the mcarthurs son decided he wanted one then caleb decided he wanted one so they offered to have it at their house together and that sounded great! brian is an awesome cook just like his parents and is an expert bread maker. he said he would make the dough into homemade pizza's and we could have a pizza party. i said i would make salads,

and salads i made. i made 5 different salads and worried it still wasn't enough. there were about 150 people coming. i made, taco salad, 2 spinach salads, chinese chicken salad, and caesar salad. we had a LOT of salad left over! i think it was because people were eating awesome pizza! brian made 2 50 gallon buckets of dough and made probably 75 pizzas which were cut into 4ths.

here is dillon his brother making pizza's to order, they worked so hard and they were so yummy! i brought a gluten free crust so i could enjoy one too! there were more toppings than you can imagine including truffle oil!? curt is a gourmet!

they made pizza's and then heated them on the grill as people wanted them

a bunch of caleb's friends came, (some not pictured) it was fun to hang out with them. kana came and i forgot to get a picture of them.

debbie made a little seating area on top of their hot tub and the kids thought it was the best place in the world to play, i don't think they left there all night!

so many good friends came, i didn't take enough pictures but here's ryan and sam

and kim , sondra, juli and heidi
it was really fun and i am glad we did it. they have a pool and the party was supposed to be half outside but it rained all day so we threw up an EZ up canopy outside and most people were inside but it was very fun. i really appreciate the mcarthurs for hosting this, we wouldn't have done it without them and they worked really hard for the boys. caleb had a great time and really appreciated it!

I love that idea for a graduation party! I always think of grad parties as luau style, but I love pizza and this is such a cute idea! Oh and I LOVE salad too:-) Congrats again on your graduate!
It was a fun party. The McArthurs are always so nice about having people over. The pizza was great and your salads were great! Don't worry, I'll eat some today so that you can know all of your hard work didn't go to waste. Thanks for inviting us!
WOW just reading your post makes me hungry...I love the pizza party idea. Congrats again to caleb and brian! Kids grow way too fast.
Oh my gosh, I totally spaced on this. I'm so sorry I missed it! I was just at home with the kids. Man! I could kick myself! I really missed some good pizza too! Anyway I am thinking about the two graduates and will be congratulating them tomorrow!
Mmmmmm...pizza.
That really was a fun party--although I feel like I saw a lot of everybody except Caleb and Brian!
