Today was sunday. kelly and her kids and their boyfriends left today. matt really wanted us to see the race route so we went on a ride and drove a portion of the bike route. i guess i thought i might know how hard it was. i had no idea! you CANNOT fathom what this ride was like unless you saw it and even then we drove it in a car while it was very windy and he was on the bike for 9 hours.
my camera was being very weird, not adjusting to the bright sunlight so these pictures are not very good but you might get a glimpse of what matt saw.
he is doing great, a little sore in his neck and shoulders from leaning forward on the bike but that IV does amazing things, helping you to rehydrate fast and letting your muscles recuperate much faster and i think it helped his stomach a lot.
i am sure he will be ready to take on a new challenge any day now!

Oh kelly,
what an amazing thing he has accomplished, I hope his recovery is good:)
I thought it would be best just to let you focus on family, but I am sure exited about June!
What are the exact dates again?
That is just plain crazy!!!! Your hubby is CRAZY! I am so glad he knew when to call it quits, so you still have a husband to call crazy!
OK so one of my friends on facebook was telling how she now has to start eating gluten free. Anyway....I told her about your blog which she was excited about. Other people commented on places in Utah (where she lives). I know you don't live there but I thought I would pass it along anyway just in case you ever go to Utah (even to visit).

I can't believe it! That's AMAZING! Wow!! Oh, and I don't think we'll be coming home for the summer. Probably in October, though. Okay, more like HOPEFULLY in October.
