i go to the honolulu zoo once a year with preschool. i love it. it is a long, hot, tiring day with the kids but so fun and the only time i go to the zoo. and it's free for me which is a bonus.
i only took my phone b/c it is too hard to keep track of my camera and have hands free for "runnners"! but the pictures didn't turn out too bad. the only thing is there is no zoom so you can't get very close.

and the best part, the bus ride home! it is so funny, about 5 min. in and they all start dropping.there are funny little things that happen like laying on each other and smooshing their faces against windows but they had a great day!
bonus for the day was seeing nellie at the zoo. we were looking for each other all day knowing that the other was there. i was happy when i spotted her eating lunch with her friends and we ran for big hugs! so glad i found her!

No, we haven't sold my contract yet, but its over in august, so even if she does buy it, we will have had to pay for the whole contract anyway.
That is too cute! I love the zoo and now that Wes is bigger, he can enjoy it so much more. He also loves animals, so that is a plus!!
Wow, is Kiley close to 20 weeks already!??? It's so exciting to find out what the gender is...congrats again! I was hoping to steer clear of J names this time, I'm not into the same letter every time, and if I ever have a girl I already have a name picked out and it's not a J. Jackson was top on my list with the first pregnancy, but Brian liked Jayden better. I am trying to not be quite as trendy with the name this time around, but we'll see. I still really like the original name we came up with, so we'll see if I can talk him back into it. ;)
