ahhh, the weekend!

as i said i had a very long week and was so glad it was friday! my niece britney and her husband adam are here for a little vacation so they came over yesterday after work and we went and had some fun, it was much needed to unwind from my week:)
we had to go to our favorite place Opal's and as usual it did not dissapoint! It was funny because kiley was actually on a date but she knew we wanted to go there so she can't say we crashed:) it turned out to be really fun though. we got there and we said hi to opal and he said asked if brit and adam were with us we said yes, he said sit down, i'll take care of it, he makes sure what i can't eat and goes to it, and i told him i can't do really spicy. he brought us summer rolls with peanut sauce, yellow curry, pineapple fried rice (awesome!), drunken noodles, and shrimp pad thai. we just did it family style and shared it all, it was unbelievable! it is the best thai food i have ever had (i am not an expert but have eaten a few places). the funny thing was his little boy lio. you can see him at the end of the table. he played with us the whole time, acting out star wars, he was hilarious. you can see his glasses at the end of the table. he asked me if i was allergic to soy and i said yes so he lasered something at me from the glasses to make me not allergic, i said is it done and he said it is downloading:) what a riot!
brit and adam at laniakea, after matsumoto's. i guess it was too late for the turtles.
we went up to laie point, the sun was setting and it was a really nice breezy night but what we saw was the moon, it was beautiful over the ocean, the picture doesn't do it justice.

That picture of your niece and hubby at Laniakea is a christmas card shot! Remind when I am home to go eat at your spot!

Wow! Britney is so old! And Kiley has quite the cute date.
We'll hopefully be out there in Sept, so we'll need to go to Opals then. I haven't been there yet.
