i am not good about washing veggies really well, i always wash them but kind of just a good rinse and with lettuce i lay it out to dry. i bought the large bunches of romaine lettuce from costco, as i was seperating the pieces this fell out, a little dragonfly thing. i will be more careful to wash my veggies thoroughly:)

yuck! I think I've seen something like that in one of my costco vegetables. I have been more vigilant since then!

Found a few of those before. So gross.
Did you see the story on the news a few weeks ago about "rat lung worm"? That has really motivated me to wash my produce well. I'll pass up the extra protein.
