What's for Dinner?

that is the question i ask myself every morning so if you are like me you like good and easy recipes while trying to make them healthy. i thought i would post this since i am making it for dinner tonight and is one of my favorites. there are a lot of recipes for shepards pie but this one contains no gluten (for me) and is pretty easy.
Shepards Pie
Mashed Potatoes- can make about 5 potatoes homemade or just 8-10 servings of instant.
1- 1 1/2 lbs. of ground beef or turkey ( i just use the 1 lb. package)
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 small onion chopped
1 tsp. italian seasoning
2-4 Tbs. worcestershire sauce
1 8oz. can of tomato sauce
1 14 oz. can italian style diced tomatoes-drained
1 14 oz. can green beans-drained
1 14 oz. can corn -drained
cheddar cheese shredded
make your mashed potatoes and set aside, brown ground beef with onion, drain fat off. add back to the pan, add italian seasoning, garlic salt, worc. sauce, tomato sauce, green beans, corn. bring to a boil and reduce and let simmer for 5-8 min.  pour into an ungreased 9x13 pan. dollop mashed potatoes over top and spread gently to cover. sprinkle with shredded cheese. bake at 350 for 20 min. until cheese is melted and heated through. for us this makes 2 meals served with bread and or salad. you can also add any fresh veggies you like, zucchinni, carrots etc.
let sit for a few min. when you take it out of the oven so it's not so runny.
