So i am a day late but i have had such a busy week. yesterday was earth day and the new earth movie came out. we are huge fans of the planet earth series and wanted to see this. we had planned to all go see it on earth day but matt was just getting home from his trip and didn't want to sit anymore, and caleb wanted to shop for cool prom shoes so kiley and i ended up going by ourselves. It was so great. if you have seen the whole series a lot of it is the same, it is like a highlight reel of the series but there is some new footage too. either way it is just amazing. it is a little depressing, in the animal world it is eat or be eaten or sometimes just starve. that is a lot of the message is that the things we are doing to our environment are affecting the animals and making life very difficult for them. i try and do little things to make this world we live in better but we can all do more. i am amazed at God's creations and am in awe of the beauty of this world. use a reusable water bottle, pick up some trash you see, recycle or just take a moment to enjoy the creations of this planet earth- Happy Earth Day!

thanks for your comment kelly! I'll definitely let you know if I need help....Nick is going to be working in downtown Seattle this summer (we'll probably be back at the end of the summer) and so we are going to be in an apartment in the "Queen anne" area. If you are going to be up there definitely call me! we could visit forks or something :)
Andrew and I went to see it the day it came out. We love Planet Earth too, so a lot of it looked familiar, but still fascinating, and sad at times. The poor Father polar bear. I cried.
brooke went to go see this and she came home and couldn't stop talking about the baby ducks and baby polar bears. i can't believe I still haven't seen it.
so aunty kelly!! yep I'm going to D.C. Do you think I should make a whole other blog dedicated to D.C.? probably, I'm going to see so many things! I leave next Thursday. I'm still planning on going to Cambodia when I get back in August. The Cambodia trip was planned around the last week of august, first week of september, and the internship ends Aug 22, so it is perfect timing. If all is still well in that part of the world, then I'm going to go. What do you think? Are you worried?
