Matt has been on the mainland for 9 days! he comes home tommorow but i haven't had much going on lately!
i took ki for her birthday to get a massage and i got one with her, that was really nice, other than that, boring days!
today at preschool was something exciting though. this week is O for ocean and octopus.
the audiologist, kristie, who is so awesome, brought in real octopus's (not sure how to plural that:) for the kids to see, touch, explore and paint with.

we finger painted them and printed them on the paper
it was very cool! as usual some of the kids loved it, some of the kids really did not know why you would touch something like that!
it was a really fun experience for them and very creative, i have seen fish prints before but never octupusessess...

That is very cool! You get to do fun stuff with your little kids. Wendell is leaving on Wednesday for a week. If our hubbys had been gone at the same time we could have had another "slumber party."
I think it's octopi.
Octopi is the plural. Is this the cute girl you were telling me about. That talks about using nice eyes or something like that? So awesome that they get to experience things like that!
Wow, what a cute idea! I remember doing that with fish in elementary! Were the octopus alive when the kids fingerpainted them?
the octopi! were not alive, just from the seafood dept.!
jill yes this is her, positive attitude, pretty eyes, try your best (all in sign language!) she's the best!
Painting with an octopus?? Wow. I have never heard of that. I think Evie would love that, I'm not sure I could touch an octopus though!
