Kiley turns Tw...Tw...Twenty

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KI KI!
i didn't get a chance to finish posting today. Kiley turns 20 today, the 13th, i talked to her this morning, she was hanging out at the beach and having a BBQ with her friends. i hope she has a great birthday it's hard not to be with her but i know she is having a good time anyway, her friends were making her a gluten free cake!
i don't have all our pics on this laptop but just a few to remember when my daughter was my little girl!

                                                    father, daughter, friends!
how can i be the mom of a 20 year old, i AM 20 aren't I?? time has flown, when i was her age, i had her. we have done a lot of growing together. she always wanted to get married really young like we did, we have tried to discourage that and encourage her to do other things and she has! she has had a very adventurous life for her short 20 years. she has been skydiving, of course a semester abroad in spain, service in costa rica, motorcycle riding, played water polo and basketball, swam with the dolphins, went in a shark cage to swim with sharks, hiked half dome in yosemite, tried snowboarding and wakeboarding and many other things. she is a very independent girl with a desire for adventure. she is determined and driven but a good friend and we are proud of her. she will graduate college in a year or so and i am very proud of that she will have a cool degree in intercultural communications or something related and a good, church education. she also wants to be a wife and a mother someday whenever that time is right.(you don't have to rush though ki) Happy 20th Ki ki, we love you!!

Oh my gosh! I'm totally crying! I'm thinking of my own daughter. I don't want her to ever grow to be 20!

What really melted my heart was the father daughter pic. SOOOOO cute! I don't want to blink my eyes because I know one day Makeilah will grow up and move on in life (which is a good thing). But I think I'll really miss them at this young age. I already miss those times when they were infants (not the sleepless nights though)! I feel so fortunate to be home and have this time with my kids. Thanks for reminding me of that! Oh and happy birthday to Kiley!
