well our NY trip is over, we leave tommorow morning for DC. we have had a lot of fun and done as much as we could in 4 days. we only have 2 regrets Matt wishes we would have thought to go to Sat. Night Live and i would have liked to see a taping of something, Martha, Rachel Ray etc. but we just didn't have enough time and we didn't think of SNL until it was too late, Zac Efron was on there too and he was pretty funny. I am ready for warmer weather though, tonight was cold and drizzly.
Today- this morning we went to the Manhattan temple. it is so different, it is just one of the buildings in the city, it just has a moroni on top, i forgot to take a picture when we came out. it the same building we went to church in just on a different floor but it was really pretty and had a lot of stained glass. we had a huge lunch at my most favorite place!! (see bottom)
Tonight we went to a show on Broadway! the only show we could get into was Guys and Dolls but it was great, a really fun energetic show! matt thought he was looking a little studly but when he said he was "the locator" i was dying laughing. there is a show called the locator, he is an LDS bishop who locates lost loved ones, birth parents, old friends. it is a really great show and he always wears jeans and a suit coat and matt looked just like him tonight. he is pretty handsome and i love when he smiles!
after the show we just wanted a little bite to eat, we went to a place we have been loving, it is called schnipper's it is like gourmet fast food , a diner kind of setting. i have had grilled mahi mahi fish taco's and tonight a NY hot dog without the bun, with sweet potato fries and matt had a grilled cheese but it was 4 cheese with tomato like a panini, really yummy! we'll miss that.
we have had a great time, on to the capitol. it will probably be a lot of walking but they have a great metro system, every muscle in my body hurts and my feet are about to fall off! actually i am starting to get used to it and it burns calories so not all bad:)

What an exciting time in NYC! Too bad "all good things must come to an end". DC is pretty neat too!
No, I didn't attend our ward on Easter. But Makeilah said she wanted to wear the dress again next week. . .I think it's because she likes the matching hat.
its really fun hearing your vacation as you are living it. that is great that you got to see a show on broadway! I am looking forward to your posts about dc.
