matt got 2 new families to hometeach. he asked if we could have them over for dinner. he knows i don't mind having people for the dinner it's just with the small space we have i feel a little closed in but i knew everyone else would be ok with it. we just put some tables outside and i decorated them with some wedding decorations. those have come in handy! lit the little lanterns and had a nice dinner by candelight while the kids had full run of the house!
i made slider burgers, salad, baked beans and candy corn cupcakes. i thought they turned out cute!
no i can't eat them but i really like making them more than eating them anyway. although i would never pass up a good gluten free cupcake.
we would like to do it again soon maybe with just adults:)

those cupcakes are adorable! i know what you mean about not minding baking even if you don't eat them. sometimes it's just the process of creating - using that right side of the brain - that is enjoyable.
