well it decided to rain most of the day so we just went for it, walking in the cold, windy, rain for 6 hours it was slightly miserable but we managed to do some things anyway and got to duck in some stores for a little shopping. (not much luck)
subway performers playing canon in D my most favorite song, it was beautiful. maybe they were juliard students, they could have played anywhere! i threw a few bucks in their case.
grand central station, beautiful architecture.
at Macy's they had a flower show in the store, it was really cool, it was like a botanical garden inside.
