whirlwind week

well spring break is definitely over! back to school and work and getting ki settled in. she has done really well with adjusting to the time but i think that has been adrenaline of getting home and seeing her friends. she may hit the wall yet. she is so happy to be back in america, you don't appreciate the little things until your gone. while she was in spain she had a horribly sore foot, we thought it was probably a bunyon (sp?) so i made her a DR. appt. for when she got home. she went the dr. and she said she did have a bunyon and to wear good shoes and take motrin- well i could have told her that. she walked a LOT in spain so hopefully it will just get better and she will not be wearing boots anymore. matt has also had a problem with his back, it has been killing him for a month. he has had chiropractic adjustments and injections and we went to the little first aid clinic thing today, they did a very thorough exam and said he just has a strained muscle. he is on antiinflamatories. i am just praying not to get sick, i have to work a little tommorow and then thurs. we are off to NY and washington DC for 9 days. i will try to post while i am there. i am excited, i have never been to either place and there is so much to see and do, i will probably have the bunyon when i get home, i have horrible feet and it will be a lot of walking. we will miss easter and ki's birthday at home but i am hiding easter baskets and a birthday present for the right time to tell them to get them, i love easter so i am a little sad but we will still go to church in NY.
my children are staying home by themselves, if anyone sees them doing anything they are not supposed to feel free to call me or comment me:) ki is responsible so she should be able to keep caleb in line! more to come later... much later after my looongg flight to NY!

have a great trip to the east coast and enjoy the sightseeing! when my mom went to italy, people walk everywhere there, too. i guess we just don't do that as much here in the states. yes - have some good sneakers for all your walking - there are so many wonderful museums in DC. you will love it! great time of year, too - pretty good weather and maybe you will see some cherry blossoms.

Have a fun trip!!! I hope it's simi warm for you guys. Oh & the book we were reading was "Into the Wild" by Jack Krakaur. One of the things the guy in it eats when he lives off the land is porcupine. I should have posted for ideas before we ventured on that one. Oh well.
