yesterday was so beautiful and i thought SPRING is here! i know some people don't think that hawaii has seasons, they may not be as drastic or cold but there are definitely seasons. it has been a cold rainy winter for us, i fully realize not the winter most people have had but it is still cold to us. you have to remember we have no heat so the mornings and evenings are pretty cold. my sister sent me a slanket for christmas that i keep forgetting to take a picture of to post but i have used it every single day since i got it! anyway, yesterday matt was off of work and it was a beautiful, sunny ,warm day and i noticed my plumeria tree is getting it's first blooms on it. we got up, he made our favorite acai bowls, we went to the gym to workout, got the car washed, walked the dog, went to the pool, soaking up the sun!! and had a great day!
TODAY- not so much, first it is rainy, cloudy and cool then i watch the news and the midwest is in turmoil with major flooding and snow and ice causing problems. i guess it's like they say about april, in like a lion out like a lamb or april showers bring may flowers!( i know it is not april yet) i just hope NY warms up for us next month!
i do realize that most people cannot go to the pool in march and that we are very lucky to not have snow and ice, it's just all relative:)

Yes, It is finally nice to have some warm weather for a change.
its the reason those houses you are looking at are $200,00 too much. For the early plumerias and march days at the pool. Can you imagine Baxter loving his walks as much in the snow?
We are still waiting for warm weather...our poor daffodills are fighting valiantly but looking a little droopy in the late March snow storms. I love Hawaii!
